Day 1 Lecture Overview-Importance & Orders Of Ramadan

 

Today was the first lecture of Darse Quran- Ramadan Special by Mr.Muhammad Tanveer and he orated it very candidly. Those people who could not get the opportunity to attend it, here is the crux and important points of that lecture, which will surely help you in getting the more knowledge about the activities of Ramadan and conditions of fasting as well.

Factors that effect the fast:

  • If someone swallow food unintentionally than his/her fast will not break.
  • Vomiting due to sickness do not cease the fast.
  • If rinsing water remained in mouth than the fast will not break.
  • The formation of saliva in mouth and its transfer to throat also do not end up the fast.
  • One should must pay attention to the time and keep in mind that eating is not allowed during Adaan.
  • Such medicinal drops that taste go down to throat break the fast.
  • Remaining water in mouth after washing the mouth , use of ear drops and putting kajal in eyes do not break the fast.
  • If someone imbibe much water than the fast has broke and he should pay Qadaa for that which is one fast immediately after Ramadan but it would be better for s/he to not eat anything else during whole day.
    In case of intentional intake of something one must pay Kaffara which is as following:
    60 continuous fast
    Free any slave
    Give two times meal to 60 people.

Roza can become Makrooh by following acts:

  • Lying,  or backbiting etc.
  • To blame a pious women Holly Prophet (S.A.W) has allowed using twig (Misvak) during fast.
  • Inoculation also don’t break the fast either it is by muscles or veins because it do not directly pass to the stomach. But one should avoid inoculation instead of sickness or disease.
  •  Stinging of wasp also do not break fast.
  • If some one keep on eating because of false timing of clock, s/he would pay Qadaa
  • Feeding mother have the permission to skip the fast.
  • Similarly pregnant ladies can skip the fast

If any old age person cannot keep fast due to lethargy than he can give Fidya:

  • Two times meal to poor persons
  • Expenditure of two times food
  • If someone could not give Fidya and died than the survivors should pay Fidya from his/her assets before anything Sick person whom condition turn severe by fast should not keep it
  • No one can keep the fast on the behalf of someone else.
  • Do not make delays in your Aftar because it Sunnah of Prophet (S.A.W)
  • Fast is the name of avoiding evil deeds and sins, therefore Allah (SWT) said:

LA ALLAKUM TATTAQOON

“So, you become pious”

However, Ramadan is here to make us Muttaqi (pious). We should know that Allah (SWT) is watching our every deed, so we should try to do good deeds.
