Rights of human beings in Islam

Before Islam the human rights were exploited. People had to face racism and discrimination. Poor, slaves, orphans, slaves and women had no rights. They were deprived of their basic rights, dignity and respect. After the advent of Islam the last messenger of Allah Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) taught the whole world that,

“No Arab is superior to the Non Arab, and no white man is better than a black man, the only thing through which you can distinguish is righteousness and piety”.

The Holy book treats the human beings equal. It teaches us that how every single person is valuable. No body inferior or superior to the other.
Quran states,

” we created you from male and female and made you distinct people and tribes that you could recognise one another. The noblest among you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous.”

Quran laid stress on equality and justice. It also teaches Muslims that if they will treat justly and kindly to the followers of other religion that is an article of faith. Even the rights of Islam provides a perfect code of life for the mankind and it has rights of the individual. Islam does not allow racism. The life and belongings of all are considered sacred in an islamic society. To be respected is a fundamental right of every human being according to Islam. The dignity and respect of every single person should be safeguarded in the society.

After the establishment of Islam women who were considered burden , and miserably treated, they were given higher ranks and they have equal right to men. They are respected and they can have share in inheritance, they can own their property and business.

Nobody is allowed to take the life of other, except for justice. Nobody has the right to harm other. A Muslim can not take another Muslim’s belongings without his permission. Islam is a universal religion it has determined boundaries and laws for every individual in which everybody has to respect and pay ones duty that is for the other person either they are parents, siblings, relatives, neighbors or anybody in the surroundings. For the welfare, prosperity and peace it is necessary and compulsory to live together and respect each other.
