Divine Relation Of Parents

Divine relation of parents

Parents are the most precious and divine relation in the world. There is no substitute for this beautiful bounding. They play a vital role in the life of a person by sacrificing their life’s energies , for the mental , physical, social and career development. They guide their children the best to see them successful and happy. They are the care giver of their offsprings. That’s why they try to provide every possible luxury to them even if it is beyond their resources.
The unconditional love and moral support that children get from their parents is the key factor in their success. For this invaluable love Allah has given high ranks to parents and he says in his Holy book Quran,

” Be kind to your parents. Whether one or both of them reach the old age in your life, don’t say a word of contempt, nor repel them in term of honour”.

One of the most dignified and significant aspect of religion Islam is to respect parents in return of love and care they do for their children. It is asked to be kind and nice when they grow old, as they were towards their children when they were feeble and weak.
The unmatchable love that we get from them there is no alternative to that. No words can describe their pains and efforts they make to bring up their children. Islam has given them distinct rights and place. If someone wants to seek Allah’s blessings he must please his parents, their displeasure will annoy Allah and that will lead them to hell fire.

The pains and sufferings through which a mother undergoes, when she gives birth to a child, there could be no return to that. And the hard ships that a father bears to earn a better livelihood for his children, so that they could survive nicely and respectably in the society. There is no example of true love, children can not pay back the debt of that love and kindness. But they can better take care of them, be polite to them when they grow weak.

The Holy Quran says,

“Paradise lies under the feet of your mother.”

This shows how one can attain paradise, by obeying and looking after her. We are strictly warned not to be disobedient and rude towards parents even if they are Non Muslims, unless they ask to stop worshipping Allah. The last messenger of Allah says,
It is the worst thing to associate partners with Allah Almighty in worship and to be disobedient towards parents”. ( saheeh Al Bukharee).
