The Moon Split into Two Halves

Involving many wonders of Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him), one is dividing of the moon, which the followers always believed, but the non-believers kept creating fun of the concept until American Space shuttles Apollo ten and then Apollo 11, introduced pictures that verified that moon had once been separated and rejoined. Thus NASA is validating that what Quran says on this topic is definitely correct.

History:

Sunnah books inform us that five years prior to the migrants of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from Mecca to Medina, a set of individuals from the group of Quraish came demanding him saying: Oh Muhammad if you were really a Prophet and a Messenger bring to us a magic to identify this reality. So he asked them what do you want? They said in an effort to complicate issues for him: divided the moon for us. The Messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) stood supplicating to Allah to assist him and grant him triumph in this difficult situation. Allah may He be Exalted influenced him to sign in direction of the moon with his finger. Immediately, the moon cleft into two parts positioned far from each other for various hours then cling returning together.

Caravans as witness:

The pagans began saying: Oh Muhammad (PBUH) practiced witchcraft on us. At this point some of the wise men described that miracle would only impact the participants whereas it cannot sustain impact on most people in general. They anxiously waited for tourists who were arriving back from their journeys. The pagans rushed up to the borders of Mecca in objectives to meet the travelers. When the first arrivals showed up, they asked them did you see anything incredible happened to the moon? The travelers clarified yes on the night (X) we saw the moon dividing into two parts which stayed asunder for sometime then reattached. Upon this statement, a number of the group assumed while the rest remained pagans. Therefore, the verse explains :-

THE FINAL HOUR DRAWS NEAR AND THE MOON IS SPLIT ASUNDER (54:1)
THEY TURN AWAY, UPON SEEING A SIGN AND CALL IT,” AN EVER-RECURRING DELUSION” (54:2)
THEY HAVE CRIED LIES; AND FOLLOWED THEIR WHIMSICAL DESIRE IN THE END, EVERYTHING SHALL BE KNOWN IN ENTIRE (54:3

An Amazing Story:

In a TV interview with the Egyptian Geologist Dr. Zaghloul Annajar, the anchorman questioned him about the verses (54:1-3): Dr. Zaghloul clarified stating that he has a tale to tell about this verse. Once he was giving a lecture on the same issue , when a British Muslim young man introduced himself as Daoud Moussa Peetcock head of the British Islamic Party. He moved on saying sir if you permit me I would like to include on this issue? I stated please do. He described saying: At the time when I was seeking in religions (before he embraced Islam), a Muslim college student gave me as a present the translation of the meaning of Quran. I thanked him and took it home. The first Surat I came over when I opened up the book, it was Chapter of the Moon I read “has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder”. I said to myself, is this statement logical? Is it feasible for the moon to split and then rejoin what kind of power may cause this? The man described that this verse made me reluctant to continue reading. I became busy with my life,yet ALLAH of course Knows how genuine I was about discovering the truth.

So, one day ALLAH made me sit to watch TV. It was a talk show among a British commentator and three American astronautics specialists. The show host was blaming the scientists for paying thriftily over space trips at a time when earth is enduring hunger, poverty, diseases and backwardness. He was telling them, it would have been more achievable to allot this kind of money for renovation of earth. To this argument, the three men answered protecting their position that such technological innovation is broadly utilized in a lot of wakes of life such as medicine, industry and agriculture. They added in that the money is never ever wasted but it instead backed the progression of highly advanced technology.

During their dialogue, they described the trip in which a man arrived on the moon surface as it takes in the biggest cost which arrives to more than US $100.000.000.000. The British TV anchor screamed stating what type of thrift is this? A hundred thousand million dollars just to plant the American flag on the moon surface? They responded no; the purpose was not to plant the American flag but instead to study the internal formula of the moon. We actually came to discovering that would cost us double folds of this amount for people today to consider and yet they will by no means believe. The show host asked what is this fact ? They replied: One day this moon was split and then rejoin. The show host again inquired: how did you realize that? The researchers answered about finding a belt of converted rocks cutting the moon from its surface to core and then to the surface again. The stated saying: we consulted with earth scientists and geologists who described that such event would never occur unless this moon one day split and then rejoined.

The British Muslim man said: I jumped out of my chair saying ALLAH (SWT) forced the Americans to spend more than a hundred billion dollars to prove to Muslims a miracle that took place 1400 years ago for Mohamed (PBUH)? This religion must be the truth. He included: I went back to the Quran and recited Surat Al Qamar, which was my gate for accepting Islam.

King of an Indian State Witnesses the Splitting of the Moon:

The event relating to King Chakrawati Farmas is documented in an old manuscript in the India Office Library, London, which has reference number: Arabic, 2807, 152-173. It was said in the book “Muhammad Rasulullah,” by M. Hamidullah:

“There is a very old tradition in Malabar, South-West Coast of India, that Chakrawati Farmas, one of their kings, had observed the division of the moon, the celebrated miracle of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) at Mecca, and learning on inquiry that there was a prediction of the coming of a Messanger of God from Arabia (Detail given below), he appointed his son as regent and set out to meet him. He embraced Islam at the hand of the Prophet, and when returning home, at the direction of the Prophet, died at the port of Zafar, Yemen, where the tomb of the “Indian king” was piously visited for many centuries.”

The old manuscript in the ‘India Office Library’ contains several other details about King Chakrawati Farmas and his travel.

A tradition of the Holy Prophet has also been explained from one of the companions, Abu Saeed al Kaudri, regarding the arrival of Cheraman Perumel. “A king from India presented the Messenger of Allah with a bottle of pickle that had ginger in it. The Holy Prophet distributed it among his companions. I also received a piece to eat “. (Hakim reports in ‘Al Musthadrak’ ).
