Surah Al-Maida
سُوۡرَةُ المَائدة
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لُعِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ڪَفَرُواْ مِنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسۡرَٲٓءِيلَ عَلَىٰ لِسَانِ دَاوُ ۥدَ وَعِيسَى ٱبۡنِ مَرۡيَمَۚ ذَٲلِكَ بِمَا عَصَواْ وَّڪَانُواْ يَعۡتَدُونَ (٧٨) ڪَانُواْ لَا يَتَنَاهَوۡنَ عَن مُّنڪَرٍ۬ فَعَلُوهُۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا ڪَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ (٧٩) تَرَىٰ ڪَثِيرً۬ا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتَوَلَّوۡنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ڪَفَرُواْۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ لَهُمۡ أَنفُسُہُمۡ أَن سَخِطَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَفِى ٱلۡعَذَابِ هُمۡ خَـٰلِدُونَ (٨٠) وَلَوۡ ڪَانُواْ يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلنَّبِىِّ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مَا ٱتَّخَذُوهُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ڪَثِيرً۬ا مِّنۡہُمۡ فَـٰسِقُونَ (٨١) ۞ لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ ٱلنَّاسِ عَدَٲوَةً۬ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱلۡيَهُودَ وَٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقۡرَبَهُم مَّوَدَّةً۬ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا نَصَـٰرَىٰۚ ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهۡبَانً۬ا وَأَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَڪۡبِرُونَ (٨٢) وَإِذَا سَمِعُواْ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمۡعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّۖ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ (٨٣) وَمَا لَنَا لَا نُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَنَطۡمَعُ أَن يُدۡخِلَنَا رَبُّنَا مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ (٨٤) فَأَثَـٰبَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا قَالُواْ جَنَّـٰتٍ۬ تَجۡرِى مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيہَاۚ وَذَٲلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ (٨٥)

سورة المَائدة
شروع الله کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے
بنی اسرائیل میں سے جو کافر ہوئے ان پر داؤد اور عیسیٰ بیٹے مریم کی زبان پر لعنت کی گئی یہ اس لیے کہ وہ نافرمان تھے اور حد سے گزر گئے تھے (۷۸) آپس میں برے کام سے منع نہ کرتے تھے جو وہ کر رہے تھے کیسا ہی برا کام ہےجووہ کرتے تھے (۷۹) تو دیکھے گا تو ان میں سے بہت سے لوگ کافروں سے دوستی رکھتے ہیں انہوں نے کیسا ہی برا سامان اپنے نفسوں کے لیے آگے بھیجا اور وہ یہ کہ ان پر الله کا غضب ہوا اور وہ ہمیشہ عذاب میں رہنے والے ہیں (۸۰) اور اگر وہ الله اور نبی پر اور اس چیز پر جواس کی طرف سے نازل کی گئی ہے ایمان لاتے تو کافروں کو دوست نہ بناتے لیکن ان میں سے اکثر لوگ نافرمان ہیں (۸۱) تو سب لوگو ں سے زیادہ مسلمانوں کا دشمن یہودیوں اور مشرکوں کو پائے گا اور تو سب سے نزدیک محبت میں مسلمانوں سے ان لوگوں کو پائے گا جو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں یہ اس لیے اکہ ان میں علماء اور فقراء ہیں اور اس لیے کہ وہ تکبر نہیں کرتے (۸۲) اور جب اس چیز کو سنتے ہیں جو رسول پر اتری تو ان کی آنکھوں کو دیکھے گا کہ آنسوؤں سے بہتی ہیں اس لیے کہ انہوں نے حق کو پہچان لیا کہتے ہیں اے رب ہمارے کہ ہم ایمان لائے تو ہمیں ماننے والوں کے ساتھ لکھ لے (۸۳) اور ہمیں کیا ہے ہم الله پر ایمان نہ لائيں اور اس چیز پر جو ہمیں حق سے پہنچی ہے اور اس کی طمع رکھتے ہیں کہ ہمیں ہمارا رب نیکو ں میں داخل کر ے گا (۸۴) پھر الله نے انہیں اس کہنے کے بدلے ایسے باغ دئیے کہ جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور نیکی کرنے والوں کا یہی بدلہ ہے (۸۵)

Surah Al-Maeda
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
) Those among the Children of Israel[] who disbelieved were cursed by the tongue of Dawûd (David) and ‘Īsā (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). That was because they disobeyed (Allâh and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds. (78) They used not to forbid one another from Al-Munkar (wrong, evil-doing, sins, polytheism, disbelief) which they committed. Vile indeed was what they used to do. (79) You see many of them taking the disbelievers as their Auliyâ’ (protectors and helpers). Evil indeed is that which their ownselves have sent forward before them, for that (reason) Allâh’s Wrath fell upon them and in torment they will abide. (80) And had they believed in Allâh, and in the Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and in what has been revealed to him, never would they have taken them (the disbelievers) as Auliyâ’ (protectors and helpers), but many of them are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh). (81) Verily, you will find the strongest among men in enmity to the believers (Muslims) the Jews and those who are Al-Mushrikûn (see V.2:105), and you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say: “We are Christians.” That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud. (82) And when they (who call themselves Christians) listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of the truth they have recognised. They say: “Our Lord! We believe; so write us down among the witnesses. (83) “And why should we not believe in Allâh and in that which has come to us of the truth (Islâmic Monotheism)? And we wish that our Lord will admit us (in Paradise on the Day of Resurrection) along with the righteous people (Prophet Muhammad SAW and his Companions radhiallahu’anhuã).” (84) So because of what they said, Allâh rewarded them Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), they will abide therein forever. Such is the reward of Al-Muhsinûn (the good-doers). (85)
