Problems of Muslim Youth

Ambassadors of Islam:

Youth is considered as the power house of a country. Similarly in Islam, the youth has been entitled with the rank of an Ambassador. And with great titles come great responsibilities. They are held responsible for how non-Muslims even young Muslims perceive Islam. We make Islam look good or bad.

We lack the traits:

The major problems aren’t in the society, problems lie within our characters. We lack those qualities, those attributes which a believer should be having. In the past, people used to embrace Islam just looking at the lifestyles of Muslims. Muslims used to be the people of Quran, and Sunnah. They were the people of Character. We are supposed to be like that. Instead, we have become the people of movies, songs, T.V, video games, and sleep. These time wasting habits lead to life wasting habits like smoking, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, and end up in adultery. And that’s life wasted, millions of thousands of lives wasted.

We lack vision.

We need young Muslims to be people of vision. Our sight has been severely clouded by the mist of misleading concepts and materialism. We have started to think like others. We are not supposed to be thinking like others. We are believers, we are Muslims. And we have been disconnected with the book that gives us the vision. We have been so away from Qur’an. That’s our problem. We don’t understand how much we are lost.

Are they really your friends? Or some another Satan’s ways to get us disobey Allah Almighty?

Choosing friends is a really serious matter. Those we mix with outside our family may be are the ones we got our bad habits from. Devil is very intelligent, he uses the mouths of people close to us which mostly are our friends; considering our families gave us a quality brought up. Sometimes, devil approaches us through a person we consider our best friend. Then in this case, that particular individual failed to be a good friend because a sincere friend would always call us towards goodness.

Let us take an example here, suppose you have this friend which smokes and does drugs with you, goes to cinema with you, you people have been together throughout these four long years of graduation and you guys have been chilling together, doing these haram and wasteful things. Do you really think that person is loyal to you? What guarantee is there that this specific person would help you in the hour of need? Or would you be comfortable taking this person to your home in front of your parents? Any person left with even tiny shame wouldn’t.

You see a believer doesn’t befriend with a sinner because you need something in common to be friends with someone. Whale moves with the whales, bream moves with the breams. A believer doesn’t disobey. Someone who disobeys isn’t a believer.

Devil’s poisoned caramel apples:

Devil honey-traps us. He doesn’t tell you to follow the wrong path and burn in hell. He rather coats it with luxuries and short-term benefits. He caramelize this poisoned fruit and sprinkles candy flavored temptations. He presents you it in the most fascinating way. But poison is a poison anyway. It’s going to kill you. He doesn’t even let you know you’re falling for a sin and you’ll end up thinking of it as your own voice in your head. That’s hazardous, you know and devastating. It is like getting a deep cut on a paralyzed area of yours, while you’re asleep. You don’t realize you’re bleeding to death because you don’t feel it.

Another impressive trait Satan possesses is that he’s very patient. He’s not going to take you in a snap, he’ll take a very little bit of you at a time. He’s not in any rush. He’ll be waiting for you on the right path to hold you back. He holds us humans responsible for his bad image before Allah. Because it was a human, he refused to bow down in Sajdah. So he simply hates us. He at any cost wants us to disobey Allah. And devil doesn’t require people to be disbelievers. Remember, devil is a believer in Allah. He knows ALLAH the Creator of everything. DEVIL’S DISBELIEF WAS HIS DISOBEDIENCE. All he’s got to do is to make us disobey Allah. That’s enough.

I know this is Haram, but Allah is so merciful man:

This is the most crucial issues of today’s Muslims. They’re being ridiculously casual about it, they take it so lightly. It is a big sin to lose faith in Allah’s mercy, HE’s going to forgive anyone who asks for forgiveness, regardless of anything, but some slaves of Allah try to take advantage of this. This is not going to happen, you’re not getting away with this, because Alhamdulillahi Rabbil A’alameen• Arrahmaan’Nir’Raheem these are just two verses. Basically there are three verses which introduce Allah to us. Maaliki Youmid’deenHE’s also the Master of Day of Judgment. If HIS mercy is perfect, then HIS punishment is perfect too. And we can never even think of getting away with our wrongdoings if we haven’t repented sincerely.

We should start rectifying the errors because Jahannum is the worst place to be in.

May ALLAH protect us and guide us in the best way. Ameen
