Essential Do’s and Don’ts of Ramadan

Ramadan is the most awaited month of Islamic calendar and Muslims celebrate it with zeal and zest. Each prayer and offering of this month will be rewarded hugely on judgment’s day. The blessings of Allah Almighty increase in Ramadan and every individual is benefited from it equally. During Ramadan, Muslims keep their fast from pre dawn to dusk. They refrain from all kinds of bad habits, eating, drinking and fraud. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) stated in his Hadith:

When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.

This shows that Ramadan is free from all kinds of temptation. There is no Satan and nor any evil force. Muslims are given the chance to win Allah Almighty by following his orders and fulfilling their duties. Other than drinking and eating, there are many other things that Muslims need to avoid. Don’ts Of Ramadan:

Fasting is the best way to learn about sacrifice and forgiveness. Ramadan demands Muslims to let go of all grudges they hold for other Muslim brothers and sisters in their hearts. They should become tolerant and forgiving.

One of the best things about Ramadan is that it teaches Muslims patience and tolerance. Muslims learn not to lose their temper and avoid getting angry on other Muslim brothers and sisters.
