A Woman’s Du’a For Her Future Husband

O Allah! Remember to grant me the one
Who will be the outfit for my soul
Who will fulfill half of my deen
And in performing so make me complete

Build him righteous and on your way
In all he’ll do and say
And spread water on me at Fajr
Telling me to pray

May he generate from halal resources
And also spend within his means
May he seek Allah’s guidance always
To meet all his wishes

May he constantly refer to Qur’an
and the Sunnah as his ethical guide
May he thank and value Allah
For the girl at his side

May he be aware of his anger
And often fast and pray
Be not-for-profit and delicate
In every achievable way

May he respect and secure me
And guide me in this life
And please Allah! Make me worthy
to be his loving wife

And finally, O Allah!
Make him abundant in love and laughter
In taqwa and sincerity
In attempting for the hereafter!

May Allah grant all the Muslim sisters with such husbands… Ameen! :
