If Any Non Muslim Comes in the circle of ISLAM. He/she will not asked to give Zakat for that period, that he spent as a non Muslim.

For Zakat a person Must be

  1. Muslim
  2. Adult Person
  3. He/She is Not Slave
  4. Owner of Pre determined value of assets
  5. Fully owner of the Wealth and it is in its possession
  6. Extendible Wealth
  7. Wealth is excluded from Basic necessaries
  8. Wealth is in possession for more than 1 year
